Favorite piece of fruit: Todd's favorite piece of fruit is the Honey Blaze nectarine. He likes eating them out of hand, though his wife uses them to make a wonderful nectarine cobbler as well.

Number of years in business: Todd is a third-generation farmer, and started working in a packing shed when he was 15 years old. His grandfather started the family farm in 1919.

Barsoom Farms grows many "sub-acid" varieties of peaches and nectarines. These varieties are great for those who like a crunchy and sweet piece of fruit. Barsoom Farms is a "pure grower," which means the organization focuses on farming alone and does not pack or ship fruit.
